This album is from duet Jo Ema. Joanne plays violin with Marysia Band, and Ema plays Accordion with JB Band, and occasionally with Marysia Band. Together they play a wide range of folk, modern and classical music from a variety of eastern European regions. They are based in Brighton, and are available for any gigs, functions and events.

1 Kalinka Malinka/Katusha - is a mixture of 2 popular Russian tunes.Kalinka Malinka was composed in 1860 by Ivan Larioov and is about a berry tree. Katusha is from WWW2 and is about a girl Katusha longing for her beloved.
2 Rumunski - A Romanian tune.
3 Czworak dworski - A Polish dance.

4 Karczmareczka - A popular song about a waitress, who always makes sure all the guests have full cups of wine.

5 Ajde Jano - let us dance yano - A serbian song from Kosovo. Symbolises Dionysian joy of life, music and dance. It is in 7/8 which is charectoristic of songs from this region.
